Additionally, SCPD Alumni member Mark Hawthorne operates and maintains an SCPD retiree email digest through Yahoo.com for retiree's updates.

The Association recommends that its members continue to support their respective organizations that provide services to retirees such as the New York Retired Police Association.(RPA)

The SCPD Alumni’s most important objective is to maintain an accurate list of contact information for each of our retirees. This list is made available to authorized members and approved line organizations. It is not permitted to be released or used for any other purposes. The Board of Directors and staff are all volunteers and serve without any compensation.
